Upstanding Health Group is a Brisbane allied health practice supporting NDIS participants and older adults. We bring Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Allied Health Assistant support to you, at home and in the community.
Care built around your goals, not a checklist
We started UHGroup because good allied health should fit around your life, not the other way around. That means meeting you where daily life happens, working towards goals that actually matter to you, and taking the time to do it properly.
Appointments are not rushed, and we would rather take the time to get an assessment right than move someone through quickly. Experienced allied health professionals who care about the people they work with, and about the outcomes they help create.
Why we run the practice this way
We built the practice around going to people rather than making people come to us. For Occupational Therapy in particular that is not a convenience, it is the difference between guessing and knowing. You cannot assess how someone manages a bathroom by asking them about it in a clinic room.
We also decided to keep five services under one roof. Most people we work with do not have one tidy problem. Someone recovering from a fall might need physiotherapy for strength, an Occupational Therapist for the bathroom, and a podiatrist for the foot pain that started it. Being able to move between those without a new referral and a new waiting list matters more than it sounds.
And we write reports in plain language. A report that a family member, a support coordinator or a funder cannot follow has not done its job, however sound the clinical reasoning inside it is.

Where we are
Our clinic is at 1/19 Railway Parade, Darra QLD 4076, with parking on site. We also travel across Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, the Redlands and the Gold Coast.
What we offer
Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Allied Health Assistants and Massage Therapy, working as one team rather than five separate services.
How it is funded
Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS, Support at Home and aged care, Medicare via GP referral, private clients, and private health through HICAPS.
Registrations
Our clinicians hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency in their respective professions. ABN 40 666 152 003.
